9/26:An Evening with Heart Theatre: Featuring Jesús Daniel Hernández
September 26th | 7pm

Join Heart Theatre at North Valley Music School for an intimate evening of music and storytelling with internationally acclaimed operatic tenor Jesús Daniel Hernández, also known as The Walking Tenor.
Discovered and encouraged by legendary tenor and conductor Plácido Domingo, Hernández was selected for Domingo’s young artist program and has shared the stage with him in performance. That early recognition helped affirm his path as an opera singer and shaped a journey that has taken him from the borderlands of Mexico and the United States to opera stages, concert halls, and communities across the country.
For this special evening in Whitefish, Hernández brings together the worlds that have formed his voice: opera, Italian song, Mexican and Latin American classics, beloved English-language selections, and personal storytelling. The program will include audience favorites such as “O Danny Boy,” “Te Quiero, Dijiste,” and other songs of love, memory, heritage, and hope.
Hernández will be accompanied by Mitchell Zeidwig, classical pianist, composer, and comedian.
More than a concert, An Evening with Heart Theatre is a celebration of music, nature, heritage, and the stories that connect us across borders and generations. Presented in an intimate setting, this unique performance offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience world-class opera and song up close in a warm, welcoming, and community-centered space.
