7/10: From Turkey to Nashville: Workshop and Concert with Mare and Nomad

Join us for an exciting and engaging workshop on the characteristics of Turkish Music, followed by an evening concert. During the concert, the Nashville-based duo of Mare Wakefield and Nomad will play their unique blend of original Americana and contemporary folk music—with a Turkish twist—which the New York Times has called “Lovely,” and American Songwriter describes as, “Hope, heartache and homespun homilies… every song a standout.” This program is made possible by Whitefish Community Foundation's Great Fish Community Challenge. All proceeds will support the NVMS Scholarship Program.
