Position Opening: PROGRAM DIRECTOR (.75 FTE)

The role is divided into five primary areas of focus:

Program Management & Development: Oversee all school programming and events, ensure policy compliance, and create program budgets. Develop new classes, evaluate existing ones, and identify new program opportunities.
Faculty Leadership: Recruit, hire, and train faculty. This includes managing program schedules and performing annual faculty evaluations focused on instructional quality, communication, and alignment with program goals. Track retention and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Student & Family Engagement: Manage student enrollment and retention. Work with families to address questions, concerns, or special needs. Create and execute program evaluations. Develop/manage volunteer opportunities for students and the community.
Communication: Curate reports for the Program Committee that strategically align program development, execution, and assessment with the NVMS mission and goals.
Event Management: Organize logistics for NVMS programs and events, including summer camps, concerts, and special events. Tasks include but are not limited to venue setup, ticketing, and onsite volunteer management.

Education: Degree in Music, Music Education, or Arts Management or related field.
Skills: Strong collaborative, organizational, communication, and event management skills.
Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, social media, and website maintenance.
Other: Ability to work evenings/weekends, a valid driver's license, and a clean background check.

Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 annually (depending on experience).
