8/4-8/6: Bluegrass & Roots Mini Festival

August 4-6

August gets hot in the Flathead, but the blazing banjos, fiddles, and mandolins at our first Bluegrass and Roots Mini Festival will be even hotter! Join us for this special event, bringing three days of great music free to all community members.

• On Tuesday, August 4, we’ll have workshops, hosted jams, a BBQ dinner, and an open mic hosted by our festival and school faculty.

• On Wednesday, August 5, NVMS will co-host a family folk concert with Kalispell Parks and Recreation as part of their Picnic in the Park series.

• Then, on Thursday, August 6, we’ll present an evening concert featuring Alison and Taylor Ackley and Andrew Brozek. Alison and Taylor will perform selections from their new duo album, Songs for Trees. A reception and album signing will follow.
