Did you know that when people listen to music together, whether at a concert or in a living room, something remarkable happens in the brain? Neural responses synchronize. This synchronization, known as “neural entrainment,” is a key factor in why shared musical activities often lead to strong social bonds. So cool!
Members of the Flathead Valley Youth Symphony are making these connections thanks to donors like you. On stage and off stage, music is connecting young people to their community and their musical future.
This is just one of many music programs hosted by NVMS that need your support during our Annual Appeal. Your gift ensures that music programs like the FVYS will continue to delight audiences across the Valley while also providing for teachers’ salaries, studio supplies, utilities, maintenance of the facility, and more.

Donations also help administer summer camps, free bluegrass jams, and a glee club. Our programs keep growing and people have loved the fun lessons, free events , and our wonderful musical family for over 25 years.
