Zac Fawcett

Born in Kalispell, Zac began playing trumpet in 6th grade, studying privately with John Laing. He went to Lionel Hampton Music School at University of Idaho studying with Robert McCurdy and Vern Sielert, graduating in 2008 with degree in Music Performance with a Jazz emphasis. He was recruited by LA-based Brazilian Funk powerhouse Delta Nove, and has toured with Bayonics, Five Alarm Funk, as has worked with over 30 professional bands. He moved back to Whitefish in 2016, and has since been performing with 20 Grand, Roots Uprising, Mac Band, Second Story Band, and Glacier Symphony. Zac has been a member of NVMS since 2021. He also plays and teaches Sitar, Guitar, electric bass, music theory, jazz studies, composition, and writes/records music for film.
