Laura Sackett

Laura has a bachelor's degree in piano from Oklahoma State University, studying under Professor Lanners. She began playing piano at age seven and established a private teaching studio in high school. In high school, she competed and placed first in the West Texas A&M Piano Festival. In her undergrad studies, she helped lead undergraduate class piano sessions, taught privately, and taught in pedagogy classes. Her broader musical experience is diverse and has included choral ensembles, organ studies, accompanying for voice and instrumentalists, as well as leading and assisting in church music. It’s with great joy that she begins to teach at North Valley Music School, and considers it a privilege to walk alongside each student in their musical journey.
