Eva Richey moved to Whitefish, Montana from Portland, Oregon in the fall of 2025 where she was the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA's concertmaster since 2007. Richey was on the adjunct faculty at Clark College as a violin instructor and the concertmaster of the Clark College Orchestra. She played with the Portland Opera, Portland Chamber Orchestra, and Oregon Ballet Theatre. She had two one-year positions with the Oregon Symphony and was their assistant music librarian for 7 years. She now performs regularly with the Glacier Symphony and teaches violin at the North Valley Music School. Starting fall 2026, Eva will be an adjunct violin teacher and orchestra instructor at the Flathead Valley Community College. 

Additionally, Eva is a Special Education Paraeducator, working with young kids in the Whitefish School District.
