Diane Dickerson

Diane has been a professional harpist, playing the grand pedal harp, for 40 years. Living in Dallas, TX and Oklahoma performing around the U.S. for varied audiences including dignitaries and presidents. She plays “pop” songs, Broadway selections, folk tunes, classical pieces, holiday music AND sings. She has performed as a soloist, in a harp duo, in a piano/harp duo, in a piano duo, and in numerous orchestras. She has taught (lever & pedal) harp & piano for NVMS since the fall of 2006 and performs on her harp(s) for events in the area. Diane received her Bachelor of Music in Applied Performance Harp from North Texas State University, Denton, (now the University of North Texas). At NTSU she studied harp with Mr. Charles Kleinstuber, who learned from world-renowned master harpist, Carlos Salzedo.
