CAMP FESTIVAL AMADEUSAUGUST 3 - 8 2014 North Valley Music School presents Camp Festival Amadeus a chamber music camp for intermediate to advanced string, piano, flute and clarinet musicians entering 7th through 12th grades. The camp is held simultaneously with the Glacier Symphony & Chorale's Festival Amadeus. Campers participate in daily small ensembles, an orchestra, electives and a master class with the opportunity for private lessons. Fun activities include a raft trip, pizza dinner, a lake outing and more. Camp faculty includes NVMS string faculty and guest artists. Campers also have the opportunity to observe narrated rehearsals by Festival Amadeus ensembles and receive a free pass to attend the festival concerts during the week as a group. The camp is held in the beautiful resort town of Whitefish, Montana near Whitefish Lake and Glacier National Park. See Chamber Music Camp for full details.

Faculty member Don Rees leads this informal group of intermediate to advanced musicians in fun, old-time folk, bluegrass, Americana tunes. Bring your acoustic guitar, banjo, violin, viola, stand-up bass, cello, mandolin, harmonica or washboard (whatever you've got!) and join the fun. Adults, teens, families all welcome.
